A beautiful house with amazing views!! The kitchen had plenty of dishes, cooking utensils, small appliances - everything we needed for our large group. We didn't run out of bath products, paper goods, etc. And there was what seemed like a never-ending supply of towels! The host was great and was quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity. Well done, TrailHound - Five Stars!!

There are not enough words to describe how pleased my family and I were with our stay here. The entire home, from the kitchen to the bathrooms and the bedrooms to the living spaces, was impeccably clean, comfortable, inviting, and absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped with any gadget or appliance you’d need, and more than enough tableware to serve our large group! With the fully stocked kitchen and Blackstone and smoker grill on the patio, there were more than enough options to prepare a variety of meals during our stay. All areas of the home, living spaces, bathrooms, bedrooms are very spacious and accommodated our large group very nicely! The beds are very comfortable, the sheets are pristine, and there’s a tv in every room! The hot tub, fire pit, and game building certainly did not disappoint, and offered a little extra something for everyone! All this, along with the privacy, peaceful and amazing scenery, left us with only one regret…that we didn’t stay longer!

We have a large family that loves to travel together. Our hosts were VERY responsive and helpful. This is the best stocked kitchen we've experienced yet for our large group (thank you!!!). This home is in a very quiet, beautiful and peaceful area within 30-45 minutes drive of all local attractions.

This trip to share the Black Hills with our children and grandchildren(ages 16, 11, 9 and 1!) has been one we have dreamed about for years. My husband is from Hot Springs and we love South Dakota. This house was the perfect spot for us, in a beautiful place with lovely views in every direction. We loved the hot tub, and the game room, which is huge and has lots of things to do. There were only 10 of us, and so there was a lot more room than we needed for the bedrooms. Loved the very well equipped and beautiful living room/ dining/ kitchen…. lots of comfortable seating everywhere. We enjoyed the outdoor grill and the firepit as well. The beds were very comfortable. We visited all the local treasures, and the location is excellent. We were all very happy to come back to this house when we had our fill of sightseeing, and enjoy what the house had to offer. Much to enjoy for the young and not so young.

This is a wonderful property with a wonderful host. We stayed here with a large family group with ages ranging from babies to grandparents and it worked perfectly for us. We had everything we needed. The house was well stocked with full size soaps, detergents, laundry soap etc which we definitely appreciated. The house was exactly as advertised and was even more beautiful in person. The views were stunning. The game room was a huge hit with our group. We had hours of fun there. Location was great. Private yet very close to town, restaurants, grocery store and shops. Would definitely recommend this property. The hosts were so responsive and very welcoming and thoughtful. One of the best properties I have stayed at. 5 stars for sure!!

We recently had our family of about 20 join us from all across the country two groups had RVs and stayed in the on site RV the rest of adults and kids stayed in the beautiful house. We had an amazing time and highly recommend the home.

We visited all the local treasures, and the location is excellent. We were all very happy to come back to this house when we had our fill of sightseeing, and enjoy what the house had to offer. Much to enjoy for the young and not so young.

This is a wonderful property with a wonderful host. We stayed here with a large family group with ages ranging from babies to grandparents and it worked perfectly for us. We had everything we needed. The house was well stocked with full size soaps, detergents, laundry soap etc which we definitely appreciated. The house was exactly as advertised and was even more beautiful in person. The views were stunning. The game room was a huge hit with our group. We had hours of fun there. Location was great. Private yet very close to town, restaurants, grocery store and shops. Would definitely recommend this property. The hosts were so responsive and very welcoming and thoughtful. One of the best properties I have stayed at. 5 stars for sure!!

We recently had our family of about 20 join us from all across the country two groups had RVs and stayed in the on site RV the rest of adults and kids stayed in the beautiful house. We had an amazing time and highly recommend the home.

Beautiful home that easily accommodated our large family for a Christmas get together. The game shed was a great bonus to keep kids, teens and adults busy. Area is absolutely stunning with gorgeous views from the kitchen and living room windows.

1. Refundable Bookings
Cancellation Deadlines
• For stays under 15 nights, you may cancel or reschedule up to 14 days before check-in for a full refund. For stays 15 nights or longer, the cancellation window is 60 days.
• For some homes, a 30-day deadline applies — this will be clearly shown before you book.
• Cancellations must be submitted before 4 PM EST on the deadline day to qualify.
After the deadline - Fair-Refund policy
• If you cancel after the deadline:
• Trailhound Cabin Co will relist your dates and automatically refund you for any nights that rebook.
• The refund per night will be the lower of the original price or rebooking rate.
• Nights that do not rebook are non-refundable.
2. Non-refundable Bookings
• If you selected a Non-Refundable rate at checkout, the booking cannot be changed or canceled, and no refund will be issued.
3. Half-Now-Half-Later Bookings
• The first half of your payment is non-refundable.
• The second half may be refunded according to the standard cancellation policy.
4. Date Changes & Rebooking
• Once a stay is canceled, you can't rebook the same dates yourself.
• If you need help choosing new dates, our Concierge team is happy to assist.
5. Transfers to Another Guest
• You may transfer your booking to someone else at no charge.
• Just contact the Concierge with the new guest's name and email.
• The new guest must accept the transfer for it to take effect.
6. Policy Match Guarantee
• If a better price is available for the same property on Airbnb or the owner's site, contact the Concierge — Trailhound Cabin Co will match it.
